Manchester Airport Webinar to help with consultation- CAP1616

Earlier this month, the UK Civil Aviation Authority launched our consultation on updating the guidance on the regulatory process for airspace change, known as CAP1616. The proposals look to simplify the guidance, improving the process for sponsors and those affected by airspace change, and making the requirements at each stage clearer.

To help respondents prepare their responses to the consultation, the CAA are holding a webinar on Thursday 9 February from 2pm – 3.15pm.

The webinar will include information on:

• the background and context for the CAP1616 review
• the engagement work completed to date
• key themes of the consultation
• development of proposals and options
• next steps after the consultation closes

There will be an opportunity for attendees to submit questions and for these to be raised after the presentation.

This webinar is not a means of responding to the consultation – it will be a chance to ask questions and seek clarification that may help inform responses to the consultation.
