Anthony Toole

An actuary and mathematics teacher by profession, Councillor Toole has worked away from Prestbury for the majority of his life (HBoS in Bristol, Aviva in York, AdminRe in Telford, Sun Life Financial of Canada in Gloucester and Basingstoke, Zurich in Swindon, Friends Life in Bristol, Phoenix in Wythall, Lloyds in Edinburgh and Wesleyan in Birmingham). Throughout this time, however, although a relatively recent resident of Prestbury, his home has always been decidedly and proudly in Cheshire.

Now semi-retired, Councillor Toole is keen to be actively involved in village life and to ensure progression in Parish Council activities. He is interested in joining the Events Committee and also in becoming a member of the Finance and General Purposes Committee.

Councillor Toole is the Council Safeguarding Champion, is married to Taffi (who is a Social Worker for Cheshire East Council) and was elected to the Council in 2021.
