Councillor Vacancy

There is an opportunity for 1 person to be co-opted to Prestbury Parish Council, Butley Ward.

We would like to hear from individuals, who are keen to become involved in the first tier of local government and in enhancing our village.

Recent and ongoing projects have included the replacement of the toilet block with a free short stay car park, installing a defibrillator in the previous telephone box, planting and maintaining the walkway between Shirleys car park and the village, extending the path through Parrotts Field and making that area a more welcoming space.

It is essential that potential candidates are willing to actively become involved in the work of the Parish Council in addition to attending and contributing to Parish Council meetings once a month in the evening.

This is a voluntary role and training will be provided.
